How HUB ZERO Documents Every Service Visit

Snow and ice management is one of the property services where “it happened” isn’t always obvious after the fact — unlike a repainted wall or a hauled-away pile of debris, a cleared parking lot from three days ago looks the same as one that was never touched, once the weather changes again.

That makes documentation especially important for this service, both for property managers who need to confirm coverage and for the liability questions that come with winter conditions on commercial property.

Every HUB ZERO service visit is recorded so there’s a record that a property was serviced. That includes confirming which areas were treated and roughly when, so property managers have something to reference if a question comes up later in the season.

HUB Centro is developing an internal client platform, starting with HUB ZERO, aimed at making service verification far more specific. The direction we’re building toward includes:

• GPS verification of arrival at the property
• Arrival and completion time for each visit
• Weather and temperature conditions logged at the time of service
• The employee and equipment that performed the work
• The services performed and materials applied
• Before and after photos
• A professional service report generated from that data

This technology is in development and not yet available across all accounts. We’re including it here because it’s the direction HUB ZERO is heading, not because it’s a feature you can request today. As it rolls out, it’s intended to become a standard part of how HUB ZERO service is documented — and, eventually, a model for how the rest of HUB Centro’s services are reported as well.
